It is irrefutable that shraddha or faith is an indispensible requirement at the commencement of any spiritual journey. From the Vedas to the Ramayana, as well as all the world’s great Saints unanimously declare in one voice that without shraddha, not even God Himself can free such an individual soul from the bondage of maya.

“Shraddha” is a miraculous publication, containing excerpts from a number of spiritual discourses given by the supreme spiritual master of this age, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj on this most important and critical subject. Through his discourses, Shri Maharaj Ji beautifully reveals the path and process towards the development of shraddha, and discusses how to nurture it throughout the duration of one’s journey to God-realisation.

Shri Maharaj Ji explains that being blessed with a human body is the ultimate grace that can be bestowed upon the individual soul by the Supreme Lord. He goes on to say however, that if the soul does not have faith in the words of God and Guru, then this human life will ultimately go to waste, and the wretched plight of the individual soul under the bondage of maya will continue for innumerable lives.

The presentation of the process to developing faith contained in this book will give added encouragement to all genuine seekers of God’s love on the path of devotion.

Yugal Rasa

According to Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, the supreme goal of every soul is the attainment of selfless divine love of Shri Radha Krishna. To achieve this goal, he advocated three devotional processes: shravan, kirtan and smaran. He remained ever engaged in imbibing this spiritual knowledge into the minds of spiritual aspirants, so that their longing to see their Beloved Lord may accelerate.

To fulfil his overriding mission, Shri Maharaj Ji composed devotional songs, imbued with ever new sweetness of divine love. In this way, he graced all deserving souls with the rarest of attainments, the bliss of divine love.

Yugal Rasa is a compilation of 100 kirtans imbued with divine love. There are compositions that beautifully describe spiritual principles relating to bhakti yoga, others that invoke deep feelings of humility in the heart, while others that describe the sweet pastimes and divine forms of the Divine Couple.

Such a delightful collection of...

My Beloved is Shri Krishna of Vrindavan

The chosen form of God we worship or ishta dev is Shri Krishna, who performs sweet pastimes in the groves of Vrindavan. It is natural to be curious as to why one should accept Kunjabihari Shri Krishna as one's ishta dev? Let us consider who we can be devoted to and make as our ishta dev.  It can be human beings, the celestial gods, demons or the Supreme Lord. Am...

Genuine Faith and a Genuine Saint

It is only upon attaining some degree of detachment from the world that faith can develop, and it is only then that meeting a Saint will bear fruit. For someone to benefit from a doctor and accept him as such, he must first admit to being a patient. You might say that everyone knows they are a victim of the diseases of lust, anger, greed and so on. That's true, but no one admits it. The few that do feel the need to cure themselves. They accept the Saint as a doctor for their mental diseases and take his medicine in the form of spiritual practice. The rest half-halfheartedly accept the Saint, are careless in taking the medicine and therefore remain deprived of the real benefit of a Saint's association.

Our Beloved Spiritual Master 5 October 1922  -  15 November 2013

A Tribute to Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

My spiritual father and the fifth original Jagadguru, Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, unfurled the pennant of bhakti with loving sentiments throughout the entire world and demolished the walls between society and its individuals. He himself was the manifest personification of love and compassion, and a living image of Shri Radha Rani. Ever since the first time I met him and witnessed his divine form, I surrendered my identity to his lotus feet.
